Like many domains, the political situation in New Marseille is an ever shifting and dynamic landscape. Alliances formed one day may shatter the next. Balance of Power
Once again, the power in the city seems to have shifted away from the Patricians and now lies with the Plebians and their greater numbers. The Plebians seem to be getting seen and being active at least socially, seeing many friendships and likely alliances spring up while the Patricians are rare to be seen and seem to be resting on their laurels.
A Silent Council
The Primogen Council has fallen silent lately. The Council's activities are not common knowledge, so it is unknown if the council is simply meeting in secret or if it has simply become irrelevant and ineffective though a few recent changes in Primogeniture may change this.
Community Watch
The last major proposal from the Council to be accepted by the Prince remains in effect where in each Clan has taken responsibility for an area of the city to watch over said area and assist the Sheriff's Office by monitoring for and reporting potential Masquerade issues. (1)
Keeper of Elysium
Last month saw the recent replacement of Keeper Aiko Takahashi, who has been away from the city for an extended period, with Keeper Isobel Williams of Clan Malkavian. Keeper Williams wasted no time in announcing her first organized event in office, a celebration in honor of Primogen Zafoora of Clan Malkavian and Sheriff Delilah Ackart of Clan Brujah.
