New Marseille is a metropolis on the North Eastern coast of Massachusetts. It houses over half a million inhabitants in the city proper, and with a population of at least one million living in its urban agglomeration. The city itself is a significant economic, political and cultural center of Northern Massachusetts, and an important hub for regional and sometimes international connections and communications.
The city is broken up into six major recognized areas by its inhabitants. Each "district" seems to have its own cultural structure and direction of focus.
New Marseille is also known to be one of the more popular tourist destinations on the Eastern coast of the United States. The city proper receives 45 million tourists annually, most often due to its reputation regarding the arts but many locals believe the spikes of tourist draw may be due to the city's interesting cultural make up. Russian, Irish, French and all other sorts of Europeans of varied descent seem to dominate the city itself, intermixing or clashing as assumed they might.
While New Marseille is not a young city by any means, in recent years Kindred of the Camarilla flock to the domain in hopes of carving out their own place in this prosperous Camarilla territory. While elders focus on the nearby city of Boston, it is the ancilla and neonate populations that find New Marseille to be an opportune place to stake their claim for an impending eternity.
